goodyear f1 xl

i have been offered a pair of Goodyear f1 tyres for my cupra,the thing is they are xl (extra load) will they be ok or am i better getting the standard ones as i am only changing the front two?,

They'll be fine. The ride might be a little firmer with the stronger sidewall but nothing overly noticable.

Better going for a higher load than a lesser load.

The tyres are supposed to be xl anyway.

as above, you should have XL tyres so they are perfect.
