I also like the Passat CC. A nice GT spec 170tdi would be nice.

A couple of lads in their early 20's have just moved into a house a few doors down from me, one has a White Mazda 3 MPS, the other has a blue RS6. They seem to be drug dealers i think :shrug:
 
it seems that quite a few people like this combination 2.0 tsi 211hp and DSG in different shapes and forms.

I love this older version of the engine in my FR but is it really that good? I guess could be a little bit more economical on steady pace because motorway driving its just few mpg more then v6's and v8's....
 
Seat leon fr550 - sold

I have finally sold my Leon FR550. What a piece of sh**e that was. I had it for 2.5 years and in that time it was back in the garage for repairs 26 times. Fantastic car to look at but a piece of crap to drive. Bought it brand new from Seat in Aberdeen. Its had 2 engine rebuilds, 5 DPF changes, 1 coolant tank change, all pipes and hoses changed, immobiliser changed, all sorts of engine management lights fixed, front headlights changed because they fill with water when you wash the car. When the car was running smoothly, i was only getting 30MPG and for a Diesel its crap. After all the work the steelers in Aberdeen have done on the car, they would not trade it in for a fair price.

I will never buy another Seat in my life. What a waste of money and time.

I have now got a Porsche 911.:happy::happy::happy::happy:

P.S Has your car only got 245 BHP after all the work you had done to it.
The FR550 was sitting at 300BHP with a stage 2 REVO Remap when i sold it.

how did you get 300bhp from your FR550
 
I had to give it a full engine rebuild and when that was completed i gave the car to an Evo/ Subaru specialist in Aberdeen and he Remapped it to 300BHP. I also removed the DPF and put on a full bore Miltek exhaust. Everything was uprated to take the extra power, new clutch, brakes, pipes, everything.
The only bad thing about it was it needed new front tyres quite regularly because of the extra power.
