Got my remap done

got my remap done yesterday by Shark Performance in mansfield - can highly recommend it and the service was great, he dropped us off to the shops whilst he did my car and then picked us up some people might like to watch the technical stuff but i would rather shop. The difference is amazing - it pulls so much more and i noticed it most on the motorway on the way back, going for an overtake was so much easier! to all that havent done this yet, it doesnt have to be as expensive as a revo etc and i can recommend this company personally if that helps you make a decision dooo it!

a stage 1 remap on theses PD130'S makes a lot of difference doesn't it?

......how much was it for the remap if you don't mind me asking?

daily driving, you should notice an improvement in mpg also

it was a christmas present so cant tell you too much about cost, i know it was less than a revo though and yeah as soon as i can get it on a rollers i will be there!

Did you get it RR'd before the remap? This is a must, imo!

nope i didnt, i dont really see it as a must coz i'm not chasing numbers, i just want to get the best out of engine but if i was interested in the figures then yes that would have been a good idea haha

It's not a case of interested in figures as in pub talk, more of a way of making sure your car was running well and still is, it might have been down on power to start with so you might only be making 150bhp etc but feels really quick because it was down before hand, it's more of a health check

Ben's remaps are £275 if I remember rightly. I got it for Rach for Xmas but Ben did me a deal as a member of Briskoda Freedom.

Ben is a top guy and VERY clever with remaps, stereos, the lot.

Exactly and now you'll not know what you've forked out for, in terms of performance increase. No point now, unless it's free to get it RR'd, if you're not chasing numbers! They are so innacurate.
