Just a quick one. Those of you with Green panel filters or any other such as K&N etc, have you noticed any difference. I know they should be better than standard but in what way?

Cheers

less restrictive = more airflow.

pore size is bigger than a paper filter, but coating on filter catches dust so still functional as a filter.

combined with larger intake pipe to airbox more power can be had.

i've got the green filter and pd 160 intake on my CC FVRS - can't say i've noticed much - i took them off and put the map back to go into the dealers, when i collected it tried with just filter and intake back on, and then map.

Same for all the cars i've had - K&N was the same, sounded cool though...

As usual, the biggest difference is made by the weather/temp.

Since putting a K&N Panel filter on my LCR, it idles a bit smoother, pulls better from lower revs and you can hear the turbo a bit more too. You can expect the same difference again with CAI. HTH :)

Hi
It would be more throttle response with the panel filter.
Not much difference with the bhp though.
Would be a slight increase in noise.
