Hello everyone!

Just saying hello to my fellow Seat/Cupra owners.

Last year I bought a TAVASCAN VZ. Not only is it my first CUPRA (all I had were SEATs before), it's also my first fully EV.

Love it so far, though it's not without issues.

Cheers!

So I've been having some issues with it.

So what I love: The design, the quality of the interiors. The way it feels to drive it, it's great. I've had it since summer last year, and I still enjoy it every time I drive it.

The bad: I've been having issues. Steering wheel vibrates at 80-90 km/h. (Saw another post by another user with a BORN First edition with the same issue).
Wheel alignment has been checked, axels swapped for new ones, now they wanna try removing the front electric motor. Which feels like a massive open heart surgery to me.

They've also tried swapping the 4 tires (including the rims) for an identical set, to check for any structural issues on the rims. Nada, the vibration is there still...

The other issue is: the break pads screech like hell when I'm about to come to a full stop. No noise whatsoever on the road, or while breaking at any speed. It just screeches when it's about to stop. And it's annoying as hell. CUPRA so far hasn't replied on this thing with the breaks, they're focusing on the first problem.

I honestly thought about returning it under the consumer laws here in Spain, and that is still an option. But if that were to happen, I'd still want another Tavascan.

I love it. It's such a beautiful car.

Here are a couple of pics.

The vertical one is from last year when I bought it.

The other one is more recent

Great looking car, I hope you manage to get the problems resolved. We have put off buying another Cupra for the time being due to the issues that we had, real shame as i loved the look of it and how it drove, but needs to be reliable as well.
