Grooved discs....

Needing new front discs on my LCR as the warning light came on for the pads so gonna replace pads and discs.......

I have acess to a cnc mill and was going to see if i could machine the eliptacly groove shape on the discs myself .... Dont really know if there is more of a process in this than buying plain discs and just machining the shape on them .......

If anyone can look at theres and see if the grooves have a round bottom on them or a flat bottom and also how wide are the grooves ......

All help would be gratefully apreciated.................THANX...........

The grooves are the proper eliptical shape with round bottom.
These are 1mm deep (act as a wear indicator too) and approx 2mm wide.

Either use EBC plains or Brembo plains.
If your not too sure whether you'll feck it up try EBC for a start but I would personally go for Brembo's.

I have these on the rear from Badger 5, there is a thread on it in his section.

Does the shape on both sides match up.... as like a mirror image....
