GTi Splitter - 1.4 SXe Bumper

Hey guys, I've read all the other threads about the GTi splitter being a perfect fit for the 1.4 models, so I went and bought mine from seat as usual.

Fitting went great, force needed but was fine..I had the left side on perfect (although it sticks out at the corner), got the middle on great but towards the right side it just would not go in what so ever. I've yet to find a way to get this thing on properly..anyone got any tips or would it make life easier if I had a second pair of hands ?

Second pair of hands will help mate. From what I can remember it is a bit of a pain to fit. You have to slide in the front and the sides a little bit, and then just bash in one side, front left, front right, other side and then the front center.

it's a right pain in the backside to fit !!!!

start in the middle and work towards the ends....

what i done on my 1.4 was take out the foglight plates and that will help u see where ur wedging it in, also i just sat on the floor and held the bumper and used my feet to push lol helps ...but wipe the foot prints off after.

Start from the middle and work your way out! Make sure its lined up though!
