Hi all, would appreciate help/advice of anyone could help!
I'm changing break cables on a 1.2 MK3 Leon. Slackened off the handbrake lever and unhooked the cables from that end.
Disconnected the cables from the calipers, undid the clips along the underside of the car.
When it came to pull them through the routing tubes, the cables come out as far as the lever end nipple and then seems to jam. Cannot get it past the rubber boot/routing tubes entrance.

Is there something I'm missing at this stage?
Thanks a million for your help, have an MOT end of the week and was hoping to get this sorted. Cheers!

This is the area which I'm having an issue pulling past. This rubber boot area. Does the metal O Ring clip below it need removed?

Great thanks! Seems you need to grip behind the O ring with ideally some plumbers pliers and twist back and forth and it pops out!
Appreciate your reply!
