Hey all, I was having 4 new tyres put on Saturday and noticed an issue with the handbrake on the driver's side, it didn't seem to be biting yet the handbrake was on. I traced the cabling and the outer car seems fine but that's when I noticed inside I have probably done two things haha

First is that I have bent a part that both handbrake cables attach too and I have absolutely no idea what it's called, what part number, etc. Ideally I need to get a new one or source it from somewhere but the question is where?

Secondly, I may have snapped the cable so will have to replace it which ain't an issue really compared to the first one 😅

So if anyone knows where to point me in the right direction I'd seriously appreciate it, will attach a picture to show you what I mean concerning it and out of curiosity has anyone else ever bent this part? I'm guessing I'm pulling up with too much force 😅

Parts catalog shows a part similar to that as "Compensating Arm", with part number 1J0711399A.
A search on Google can confirm whether it is the correct part or not.
