Hey Guys, i seen a thread on this before but i cannot for the life of me find it.

Just wondering as my Handbrake goes up to the roof, is handbrake tightening easy to do by yourself?
if so how?
or how much would i be expecting to pay at a garage (not the best with tools)

when pulling the handle does it have to come up a long way then put the brakes on over 4-5 clicks? if it does you will need to adjust the rear brakes. if it just suddenly takes effect after coming up a little you just need to tighten the cables up (i think its just a 10mm nut on the end of the cable attatched to the handbrake)

only an hour job at the most so would only cost 1 hour labour (if no parts needed eg brake shoes)

Piss easy

Take off centre console, then tighten the 2 nuts on each side

Took me 10-15mins tops (most time taking off centre console withoutbreaking nothing lol)
