Hardware upgrade - does it exist?

Hi all,
I recently owned a new Seat Ateca that came with hardware version H56. I noticed there's a newer version H57 and was wondering if the dealer workshop can upgrade the hardware version, or whether it's limited to software updates only?
Obviously, I'm not referring to my specific model, but asking in general
