Has anyone upgraded to Gen 3 PCV valve?

Have seen a youtube video recommending this, what do you reckon?

I believe this guy pioneered that terrain. I drive my car normally, but I briefly looked into it. I was put off by the cost of one the required hoses. I will keep the stock PCV valve but will be replacing it every now and then.

For me exactly the same.. the costs don't justify the upgrade..
