Has anyone used Motorway to sell their Cupra?

As per the title really. I'm looking to part-ex my Cupra Ateca, but the dealer is playing hardball. They're not prepared to go above £2K less than Motorway reckons they can get me for it. Admittedly it needs a little tidying up (not much, but the wheels need refurbishing to deal with the whiteworm). Two questions really:
Is the price that Motorway quotes realistic? They say that they get it from the CAP black book so I assume it should be fairly accurate?
Has anyone had an experience dealing with them, or heard about any issues with using them?

Thanks guys and gals.

I sold my Cupra Formentor via motorway a couple of years ago. I got slightly less than Motorway expected if I remember rightly. However it was during the covid bubble so prices were a mess (I put £3k down, had the car 16 months and sold with £3k back in my pocket 😅)

It was Kendal/Blackpool Cupra who purchased it. Motorway are just an auction site for dealers, so your experience will really be determined by whichever dealer bids highest.

Driver arrived, checked it over and the funds were transferred in full straight away. take good accurate photos as guided and there’s not much they can do to pay less than offered

I sold a car through Motorway. It all worked out, but you need to be really, really accurate with your listing and still be prepared for the dealer who buys it to try and knock you down when they come to pick it up (especially if they've over-bid for it). In my case he got super picky about the gravel rash on the windscreen ( on an 8 year old car!). I let him away with a few quid, knowing that I was still getting more for the car than I had expected🤫
