Headlight Control Module Ballast 5F0941472

Hi,

I bought a replacement Headlight unit and a replacement headlight Control Module Ballast 5F0941472. Does this need to be coded in to work as currently only the indicator works for the left side. I don’t get DLR, main beam or low beam.

Can anyone help?
