the trick to an even covering is to not go mad for a start. tape up the front of the covers and stick both side by side...

then lightly cover both covers at once with alternate directions ie first do a vertical coat over both, wait for it to dry or go tacky (whatever the can says) then do a horizontal coat over both...

if you get any areas that havent covered then you'll need to clean them off properly and start again.

i hope this helps matey :)

Do you spray the inside of the lense or outside ?

Taping up the outside stops you getting any overspray on it. If you ever had a radio controlled car with a polycarbonate body as a kid, you painted the inside leaving the outside nice and shiny. Stones also won't take the tint off if it's on the inside.

I guess you'd use tint spray from Halfords or somewhere similar.

I know they might me good to tint but they are pointless for protecting an already plastic headlight. It would take quite alot to smash them IMO.

You cant use tint film on plastic. Plus also to get the crease out you need to shrink it with a heat gun. (mate got a tinting company, thats how i know)
