Headlight switch removal

Had a problem after fitting HID kit; passenger side light is not working...Fog and brights are 100%, just the driving light is dead...It did pop the individual fuse, which I replaced...Still not working, so I'm thinking of swopping the headlight switch to eliminate that...How do I remove it?

What else can I inspect? Relay, earth, etc...

Any help would be appreciated...

its more likely to be the HID kit then the switch. take the bulb from the passenger side and plug it into the driver side ballest. if its still not working then its a faulty bulb, if it works then its a faulty ballest

If you want to get into the back of the light switch .. you take the side off the dash where the fuses are.. the bottom over your pedals and then it comes off with a pull.. but on mine the wiring was so short that as I pulled it sprung and hence broke the fragile light switch assy.. so better to try and reach in and disconnect before the pulling commences.. which is hard as it is one of the lug locked wiring loom plugs.
