Got round to changing the nearside headlight unit on the Leon today, after a stone chip cracked the lens and it started leaking.
Managed to get one off eBay for £200, I wasn't going to pay £430 - the unit with the LED DRL is £200 more than the older nonLED DRL unit
Just a heads up for anyone doing this job - don't follow the YouTube videos which all show that the bumper needs to come off - it doesn't. Follow the official instructions which say that only one side of the bumper needs to be released, but it is easier to remove the complete headlight and mounting bracket as a complete unit, and swap over the mounting bracket to the replacement light unit whilst off the car.
Hopefully this will save someone taking the complete bumper off unnecessarily
