Hi everyone! New member here and a proud owner of a 2012 Ibiza FR 1.2 TSI, first car as well so super excited :D

Loving the car so far but being a hands-on person, I am keen to make a project out of it. Currently I am re-lining the headliner as the original fabric is a bit naff, I've already removed the headliner and will be covering it in a textured nylon with 3mm foam backing.
My question is if anyone have experience with fabric wrapping the A, B and C interior pillar trim panels? I ask because the supplier accidentally sent me too much fabric and said I could keep the extra free of charge, so now I have a bunch of fabric and nothing to do with it :p
If not, is there anything else in the interior that people have experience wrapping in fabric? The thing I am trying to emulate is the soft/plush feel of the plastics on a VW Polo or Golf interior.

Any suggestions welcome!

Was thinking of doing to the same to my mk5 Ibiza but not quite sure what to go for in terms of design for the headliner.
I was initially thinking just a plain black but then had a look online and saw some pretty cool designs! Now I'm pretty set on making mine one of a kind, a little more pricy to get a fabric with printed design but I think it'll make all the difference!

whats the best way to remove the headlining and are you removing the previous material before putting the new stuff on???

Probably would advise getting rid of the old stuff rather than covering it over. Give the full process a google search but pretty much just peel it off then give it a sand or scrub with something abrasive to prep it for glue/ adhesive.
