Hi all, i am coming to the end of my cupra born v2 and was considering ordering a the new tavascan v2 trim. But the cupra website shows no hud on the v2 on the spec list.
Have they removed it?
Cheers

Hi, looking at the brochure dated July, it's only available on the VZ1 and VZ2

I have the tavascan vz1, and the hud is awesome, next level even, as it even shows Google maps (android auto) directions on it.

However, I would warn you to have a good long test drive in it. As there are just unforgivable issues with it, which ruin an otherwise awesome car. Namely suspension and brakes on the vz1 (not sure on other models).

Suspension: even though it's adjustable, it's so hard regardless of setting. It's really bad.

Brakes: the switch between regen and real brakes is so bad, it makes it pretty much impossible to drive smoothly. And you can also be going high speeds and need to suddenly brake, and it feels like you have stamped on wooden brakes. As it takes a good second or two to actually start using the real brakes. Really is terrible.

That aside, everything else on the car is awesome. But the above is a deal breaker for me and I will be handing it back next year. It's possible this is a vz1 specific issue, but on the non vz ones, you don't even get adjustable suspension.

Does it show the correct turn when turning left on the HUD, on all the CUPRA press cars we've had including my own Leon (on the digital dash), Android Auto confuses left turns with right, and I've had the same on three different phones.

Thanks for the reply. Tbh i did not want to go that expensive for vz1 trim.
I would probably would go for v1 version if no hud in v2.

Have not noticed any issues like that personally.
