Heat problem in cabin.

Got maybe a serious problem with my new LEON FR TDI. In the passenger side near the center console I noticed it gets very very hot near where the passenger
has their right leg.Is this normal as it happens all the time even when the climatronic is on cold.

Try checking if the heat shield is missing from around the exhaust mr. About time you treated me to a pint in the local. Take it to Rusty's in scunny fella they are sooo good. NOT!!!!!!

Fire up the air con for a couple of seconds to flush out the stale ECON air. Then switch back to ECON. Sometimes happens when its wet outside.

thats exactly when it does it. with the cost of fuel i've resorted to Econ the majority of the time. it does go away like you say once its been on for a minute or too
