Hi All,

Currently I have a Forge Induction Kit for 2015+ on a 1.2 tsi engine
This comes without a heatshield, and is directed away from the centre engine block.
I may also add that i have a custom overrun (pops and bangs) mapped into my engine code:)

I know that if cone induction kit without a heatshield it pulls warm o2 into your engine for combustion..

I have also heard that if you have cooler colder air being sucked into engine, it allows for a louder pops and bangs.

I have seen a few videos on YouTube on how to make a heat shield for your cone air filter.
And i know that many use Aliminum sheets.

Has anyone ever done this??
Do people think that the sound will be improved much if at all?
Does anyone know of any better ways of getting colder air intook without getting an intercooler?
