I was wondering is there a point of installing heat shiled for my air intake (Apexi cone filter) as I have FMIC? It's logical the the air anyway is going to be cooled down by the bigger intercooler.

The heat shield on the Cupra TDI was replaced on the 11-12-2007 under warranty. It has drop off again, or at least is being pulled off by the exhaust. [:@] The car ran out of warrnty on the 15th Jauary 2009. Is the replaced heat shield still under warranty? If not is there a good case...

for those with jabba heat shields where have you mounted your catch tank? ive searched for catch tank fitting and the ones ive seen all seem to be mounted in the top right where the filter is..
