looking at a turbo back system, when i had a FRS it was the dun thing to heat wrap from the turbo down, and it did help reduce engine temps, as the turbo was at the top front of the engine bay.

is it worth it on the LCR systems,

Would be worth it with a freer flowing exhaust 2.75" and above and race CAT as this will allow the exhaust gases to keep up to speed and exit the exhaust system quicker.
On the OEM exhaust with OEM exhaust manifold maybe not.

ye the system will be like yours john, straight through pipe to the back box,

think i will wrap it from the turbo to the bottom of the de-cat.

On the negative side, if your car is a daily runner and not a weekend or track toy. If the heat wrap gets wet/soaked or covered in salty water in the winter then it traps that moisture in. It will quicken corrosion even on a stainless system. I seen a pic once of a VX220's downpipe that was wrapped after a few winters and it had suffered quite bad due to the trapped moisture.

This is my new downpipe ive got from pipewerx. and a new decat so its new restrictive now.

I wondered what the pipes looked like. I just got them fitted by Ian without seeing them.
Look good.
