With the colder mornings starting ive noticed the door mirrors didn't demist on a 45 minute commute.

Are heated door mirrors standard on the 2014 Leon FR TDI? Just wanted to check heated mirrors are a feature and if anyone else has problems if they are.

Cheers

Is the mirror adjuster pointing at the heater symbol ?

Are you switching on the rear de-mister ? - the mirrors come on with it.

You can check they're on in the small window under driving info, it's where you can find the MPG etc, there's also a window where you see the air-con and mirror heating usage. If it's on you should see it there.

Its part of Seat's 'feel the difference' range ( as opposed to VW's taste/smell/breathe the difference ;) ) which basically means you cannot have mirrors that auto dip in reverse AND heated at the same time...... :D

I was able to see the air-con and heating usage pressing the car button on central dash and viewing ECO. However not sure exactly where you mean small window? Do you mean where the speedometer is? Or the main screen in centre of dash?

The small screen, the digital speedo etc. If you cycle down there's a view for "convenience usage" as well which shows mirror heating usage, AC, and as someone else mentioned I suppose it will show rear window heating as well (never checked when that was on).

The 2014 brochure says "electrically heated and adjustable" is std on "S", "SE" and "FR"

Electrically folding std on "FR" only

I have a 13 SE with Tech Pack (full LED) and do have electrically folding mirrors. No idea if it comes with Tech Pack, or they changed it for 2014. I like it, anyway.

You need to make sure you have comfort box ticked in MFD Display in set up menu

I think the title of this thread needs changing from heated wing mirrors not working to owner doesn't read manual...
;)

Why do that when its easier to post on here and get someone else to do it..........
What we need is an emoticon for 'RTFM'
