Whilst my car is not fitted with heated jets I've acquired a pair and wondered how are they wired in? when do they heat, are they operated by a switch or work by ambient temp, I may be able to sort something myself.
There isn't a manual 'heat my washers' switch. Pretty sure they are auto, when temps are at 4'c and below.
TBH, bit of a waste of time really, as it's just the nozzle bit that is heated, so if you've got a frozen tank/pipe then you may as well just stick your head out the window and shout at it.
What they *will* help with though is making sure that any surface water doesn't freeze over the nozzle heads, so if you've got -100000'c screenwash, then you could in theory drive in freezing rain and not have to worry about the nozzles getting blocked up.
