Quite possibly the most hateful and soul destroying job to carry out in these cars.
It's truly disgusting the amount of labour involved.

I did one a work and the customer came in to get something out off the car and was shocked to see the whole dash board out off the car and I was just dropping the heater unit out to get to the Matrix when she turned up so she did get to look at what was the issue and said no wonder it’s not a job that could be done in a couple off hours then said have fun putting it back together

all done, worst job to do on one of these. £700 quid at a garage, cost me £50 and 2 days.
Fair play to you, did it all go back together properly and without any dash rattles or left overs?

Few self tappers from some lower trim panels. I just took my time. Finding those 10mm bulkhead bolts were fun.
I cured a few rattles, fixed some broken air vents, tidied up the stereo wiring ect.
Just finished the rocker gasket and replaced the washer jet hoses that went brittle.
