Heating Resistor

where is the resistor? does anyone have a diagram of where it is located?

You don't seem to have been overloaded with advice, so here's my two pennorth!
There isn't much information in your query, but if it's what I think, the resistor is located on the heater unit casing, on the sloping bit between main casing and fan housing, and is removed by twisting anti-clockwise.
