Hecko clips wont go in!!

Been trying to install hecko wind detectors in my girlfriends mk3 leon.. did it on my astra h with EASE!!!
... the deflectors themselves go in easily, the clips.. my days the clips are pissing me off ! Astra.. pushed in nice and tight.. this leon.. push and push and push with flat head and it just doesn't move up into the window channel! Cant think of anything that I'm doing wrong!? ... anyone else had clip problems? Clips too wide? Shall I pinch the tops a little more to suit??

Can’t help sorry, mine went in fine, can you turn then around so the wee lug sticks out the other way?

Tried it, tried everything getting the clips in but no luck.. ended up making the very top of the clips go triangular so Its like the space the windows shuts in is just too small!? Left the fronts with no clips and gorilla glued the rears in and shut the windows.. honestly dont understand how they didnt fit! Seen people on YouTube fit them but that was 3 door Leon's and they didnt use the clips as front windows fit nicely, kinda tight in there
