Hello Chaps - Brand New Poster !!

Alright chaps,

After wrapping my 200sx round a fence I am after some advice on my new Toledo 1.9 beast

I have done a weeks work to get it sorted but I am no 'Leccie

(presume it is electrical?)

Temp guage is knackered, or appears knackered, doesn't move at all

Fuse?

Please help gurus

The thermostat might be knackered.

Can the temp guage be tested on VAG-COM? (VW diagnostic software) If so, I'd try that first.

if the thermostat was broken then the car would be overheating left right and centre. Check the fuses in all the fuseboxes. or it should tell you in the manual which does which. other than that you could have a broken temp sensor in the engine. or wiring problems. hope this helps.

what about the temperature sender? i changed mine because my guage was going up and down like a yoyo and their was nothing wrong with the running of the car....

holy bollocks ... would have took 3 seconds for a pdf of me ill fated 200sx to transpire !! someone send me a hooky pdf/.doc whatever manual for 1.9tdi please? I'll take the wrap
