Hello, does anyone recognise my car???

Hello everyone,

Thought id stop in and say hello as its been through searching through old posts that i decided to buy my Ibiza tdi 130 sport. Ive been a rwd japanese car man for a long time so the change to fwd tdi is a bit of a shock but i really had to as im doing alot of miles for work etc.

Anyway, a bit about my car:

Its a gunmetal 02 plate, last 3 digits DTX with 45k on it, was a catd damaged repairable but after seeing a picture of the "damage" (a cracked bumper) and giving it a thorough going over it seemed it was an absolute bargain for the price. Especially when you consider the fact its got a few tasty bits on it. The trader said it had a filter and strut brace but ive also spotted a full miltek exhaust, omp front arb and ive got a big feeling its got some kind of chip/remap.

So i was just wondering if anyone remembers this car? The accident was around july/august this year?

Anyone got any tips at all with these cars? I was thinking about taking it down to big boys toys as they are pretty close to me for a check up and service and to see if its had a remap.

Anyway, absolutely love the car.

Yeh, it has the same grill and mods from that post. I just read on another post that she got done by a camera after she crashed it? I have the guys number i bought it from if that any help??

Any more info about the car would be cool? Dont suppose selina still comes on here much does she??
 
Hi mate,

Yeah its our old car, there is more damage than that when we left it so its been fixed lol...I take it you have power steering now?

Did have Dragon SuperChip that is currently sat in our garage...

But...

Sel has had letters about intended prosecutions in November and Decemeber, one was the 12th December doing 91 in 40mph zone...

Needless to say she isn't very happy, nor am I...although we realise this may not be your fault...

Please add me to MSN (addy in profile), we can talk about car, and hopefully get to the routes of these speeding etc etc...

Cheers for the chat Mike and Selina, has very much put my mind at rest and hopefully you get the speeding sorted out. :D
 
Nope, im in South London. I got the car last night and noticed that it wasnt standard so thought it may have previously have been owned by someone here. Was just trying to find out some more info about it really and selina and mike have been more than helpful :)

All this front wheel drive diesel stuff is new to me so be gently. May have to do something about this lack of chip/remap business thou.

She certainly is. You know you were saying you still had some history for her? What sort of stuff is on it? Would be great to know so i can sort out when and what it needs. :)
