Picked the car up after work and went for a spin, so no pics as it was pouring with rain and dark now. Spent a while sitting getting familiar with the infotainment system, will get the hang of it eventually.
Do I need a subscription to create a user on this ? I reset to factory but won't do anything when I try and register.

Cool, you shouldn't need a subscription but will need an account. Have you tried the app on your phone and paired with it?

Yes, I tried using the 'My Cupra' app, maybe I'm doing something wrong. I'll nip out at lunchtime if I get a chance and have another go - had a battery voltage warning last night as I spent so much time at it.

yeah watch for that the batteries drain quickly, I had a flat on mine

I'm bored of trying to make an account now, so am I missing anything by just being 'Guest' ?
Everything seems to be working so far, is there any need to update this firmware?

I'm not sure on versions but it should offer to auto-update if a new version is available I'd imagine.

It would seem patience is key...
Yesterday an update notification showed up, that seemed to kick the info I put in the app into life and my user appeared on the screen during the update, and this morning it advised there was another waiting to download.
