Help....17582 P1174 Fault Code

Im not very good with cars, but luckily my cousin is a mechanic and his friend is a bit of a seat nut, they ran the test and found one fault code

17582 P1174 Fuel Trim, Bank 1 Different injection times

The reason why i took my car to the garage was because it keeps cutting out. I could be driving along at any speed and the revs just suddenly drop very low or the car stalls, i read around and heard it could be the fuel relay but it was tested for 30 seconds constantly and it was fine.

if anyone could help with this it would be much appreciated as i dont know where to start.
