Right, so I bought an ibiza 1.9 tdi pd 100 ( mapped to 130 ) ast night and drove it home 250 miles, and was an absolute nightmare !

First: engine went into limp home mode after 100 miles, engine restart solved this for 50 miles then I had engine management light and proceeded to limp home another 13 times.

No boost, couldn't accelerate past 60. Restart sorted it each time but times inbeyeeeners have got shorter

Second : after 120 miles fuel gauge said 3/4 tank then suddenly dropped to a quarter of a tank, then dropped to warning light . I had 35 miles to services so **** myself. Made it there and only had to put £25 in?! Obviously fuel gauge is fudged

Third: temperature gauge either doesn't move or randomly changes between 90- 50-0 and bak again.

Fourth : wipers only work on fastest setting, lower settings don't work and when shut off wipers don't return home jut stall wherever they are across the screen.

Majorly pissed off but as I bought the car for a family member I can't really complain too much.

Any help would be massively appreciated as I'm ready to change back to my 1.2 clio as its quicker on average and more reliable !

Whereabouts are you located? Could do with rigging the car up to VCDS for a fault code scan.

1) sounds like the car is over boosting, could be caused by split/leaky/partially disconnected hoses. A common fault is with the intercooler hoses, the metal lugs can wear out over time. It could also be the turbo but I wouldn't jump in and change that just yet.

2) have you got the 6 or 4 dial dash cluster? The 6 dial ones are prone to failing causing errors like you describe.

3) related to number 2

4) quite possibly the wiper motor, best cleaning up the connections and inspecting it visually and then go from there.

Ill try And get the car scanned ASAP but don't know anywhere near here ( Cornwall, st Stephen).

1) would a visual check help confirm this ? Would a turbo cleane help at all ?

2) 4 dial cluster, could this be dry solder joints ? Or voltage regulator

3) above

4) ill have to check the connections tomorrow , if not new wiper stalk ?

Perhaps try posting in here, you may find someone locally with VCDS.

A visual check would certainly help with the hoses, if you can see a lot of oil around the connections, or splits, or loose connections, then you know something is wrong. I'd check particularly the upper and lower intercooler hoses.

On the cluster, yes I think so. BBA Reman can refurbish a cluster if you need, benefit of this is you get your own cluster back, whereas if you replaced it with one from a different vehicle, you'd have to get it coded to your car.

Wipers - it could be the stalk, certainly if you can get your hands on a very cheap second hand one it could be worth a go. Personally I'd have a good look at the motor first though.

I've checkled around the turbo, and all I found was a pipe that was resting against the actuator rod, possibly impeding it ?

Hopefully got access to a snapon diag tool in the next so fingers crossed

17965 fault code : charge pressure control positive deviation

P1557 intermittent

Does this point toward sticky vanes? Been offered a new turbo from the guy I bought it from as apparently he'd already used the innotec kit before.

Okay, first thing I'd do is check the vacuum and intercooler hoses. Splits, loose connections, they're all bad and more common on higher mileage cars, particularly remapped ones.

You're car is overboosting, if the above pipes are okay, check the actuator is nice and free.

Check all pipe work to the N75 valve.

If all that seems okay, then it may be the vanes. I'd be wary about buying anything from the bloke that sold you this car. When the oil seals went on my old Octavia TDI I was fortunate to find a brand new genuine turbo for sale on ebay, have also bought a low mileage second hand turbo for my dads VW T5 TDI, and that's still going strong. That may be the way to go for you.
