iam thinking alot between 2.0 8v 2E and 2.0 16v ABF
which one will be better in ibiza mk2 1994

lol i thought that too,

it might help if you tell us what engine is in there now

no it won't, unless its a diesel.

the way these threads are going, anyone with a standard Cupra could end up with a rare car.
a Cupra-shelled Cupra.

i can see in a few years time...'i've just bought a mk2 Cupra, i didn't know they made a 4 door model'

Is it me, or is this "what engine" thread becoming a weekly occurance?

@Old 'uns: I'm going to buy a 1.4 and put it in the garage for a couple of years. Then I'll put it on eBay as 'rare' (which they will be, if all these supposed conversions actually happen...) and I'll make my millions. I'll be rich, I tell you. Rich beyond my wildest dreams!

lol i think the ibiza was built for a purpose you have the 1.4 for younger just passed drivers and the 2.0 for older more experienced drivers end of none of this messing about putting 2.0 in a 1.4 its not on. unless your going to do a 1.8 20vt conversion or a vr6 conversion because theres alot more work and there more satisfying

how about something different / bigger / more cylinders + grunty

i'd love to see the Ronal Teddy's painted 'noddy style' colours on a deep 9/10" J polished rim

better still in Angel/Devil style ?

I think that i might bin my 2.0 8v engine and fit a 1.4. there isnt going to be many of them left....i like the sound of a ibiza gti 1.4...............
