Right just been to Seat to try and order a set of mats and 2 interior door handles (Easy enough you would think!)

Firstly I got told that the mats in my car arent standard Seat mats, does anyone else have mats which pop down with poppers? They are plain black and all four pop down through the carpet.

Secondly they told me that the part number I had for the handles was wrong and that you cant get rubberised door handles! Also they told me I need a trim code for the right colour door handle, its black how many blacks are there?

The codes I has were 6K2863709PHJZ for the mats and 6K0867172B for the door handles (which matches the code in the part number posts)

They seemed very annoyed that I was giving them part numbers and kept saying thats wrong where did you get it from?

They were helpful enough but I felt like a right fool

Yeah i have the standard mats that pop down onto the floor?

I got two new Interior Door Grab Handles and the bits above it, with some other bits from the SEAT Section on here (when it was IMG Warrington)

What about trying the Ted Johnson - SEAT Dealer Section on here?

Yep same as mine! Well Seat tell me they arent a standard part and they must have been fitted. Which I thought was weird as the popper are thru the floor carpet

Ive got the popper thing on mine, id say they were pretty standard because they are in the carpet quiet well. Also how would you twist the carpet when two are already in? Ask SEAT that, like to hear there answer. as for door handles, ive got used to mine being scratched, less rubber, less weight, more speed!!!!!

Ive just spoken to Kings in Portsmouth who told me the part number I had for mats is valid but is now obsolete lol!

And the handles I do need a colour code as there are two dif types of black.

But my part numbers werent duff bcoz he typed them into the system as I said it and they came up!

Two different types of black? Only the Spanish (germans to be picky) could think of that.

There is black S and black and without the trim code from inside my service book (which is at home) i cant find it out

i need the grab handles too as mine as scratched too....

i believed the colour came up as GREY for the door card grab handles?

Well ive been told its either black, black S or camel so we will see when i find out tonight! lol

The plastic and handle that surrounds the electric window switches....

Yes indeed! I will find out my code tonight and then hopefully post a part number in the part number thread.

Would be the same for all Cupras i guess

theres a few part numbers on a few threads on here if you search, il dig em out and post...but again mention colour as an issue.... dark grey...black etc etc...

I believe the 54H on the end tells you its black...

but i presume we all have black on our cars?
