help needed

my seat ibiza turbo has a fault , when u drive slow is seems fine but when u give it a bit of acceleration it has a wee stutter and sound like sh... like a misfire or something ,ive just changed the plugs but no diffrence do you guys think it might be the coil pack or something else ,put it on the vagcom but no errors was shown ....cheers dave

Is that the 1.8? If it is there's a faq for it somewhere on the home page under one of the car headings, have a look in there because there might be something in there that could help. Is that a fully working vagcom you have?

yep 1.8 turbo ive looked at the trouble shooting page it lookes like the coil pack is knackerd just wandering if it was something else, i willl get new ones tomorrow and see if it helps ,the vagcom i have isnt the full package ....cheers dave

I don't really know much about the petrol engines myself for these cars and pity about the vagcom, I'm not that far away and need to do some adjustments to my car lol

Try the coilpacks and check fuel filter

Coilpacks failing under load not uncommon ! Easy fix and worth changing all for s3 bolt downs too to stop them popping up again and failing
