Help Please!! running cable from dash to engine

Hi people,

Can someone please tell me or atleast point me to a good thread exlpaining how to run a cable from the drivers side dash (fitting a carbon look turbo gauge) to the engine please

Ive taken the side dash off and got past the main fuse holder but cant see an easy way from there through to the engine. Ive also taken off the plastic under the windscreeen wipers and still cant see a way in from the engine.

seems a right pain in the bum but hey it need doing.. sounds abit like a w***n jk

You cab feed a cable through the bukhead at the point wher the bonnet release cable goes through on the driver's side.

I will attempt it on sunday cuz its go carting and drinking day today lol friday was painting break callipers day which I am doing a thread on soon.

yeah push the cable down threw the drivers inside wing in to inner arche,drill or push hole threw black groomet size of 50p coin,cable then comes out be -hind throttle pedal, pull cable up threw back of steering column,then fit to suit gauge...

Don't forget some silicon (if not a tight fit) around where it enters that black grommet.

As per my guide - it can be a right pain to find out where the hose comes through on the inside of the car, but I managed to find it with a bit of digging around in there
