Just had timing belt go on engine
What's the verdict tdi 110 03
Turned engine off immediately
Nightmare I know

Same thing happened to my 110.

Dropped a valve in to the cylinder, it went into the swirl chamber (in the piston) and flattened the point on it, scored the cylinder wall, bent the valve in half, and scored the cam shaft.

I ended up putting a new engine in the car. A few days work by my self with no engine crane.

Let us know how you get on.

Unfortunately, based upon my experience, I think the engine is probably dead.

Mine was idling when it let go and I turned it off pretty much instantly and it was already too late.
