Help white smoke

My Ibiza cupra has just started smoking on gear change doesn't do it all the time only when giving it some on the od occasion my mate says its a BIG cloud anyone got any ideas ? Doesn't do it just sat on the spot reving it

Well worth looking at the dump valve I had this issues once and it was the forge dv leaking slightly. If not get compression test and headgasket test. And mayonnaise on the oil dip stick?

The oil is sound mate think I'm defo looking turbo side of things

Maybe turbo oil seals starting to go or valve stem seals I'm a mechanic if you need any work pm me bud cheers also got a ko3 with 77k on as upgraded to gt28

Sounds like turbo but check as said the dumpvalve. Ko3s up for grabs here but joking aside. Hope its not your turbo as thats just a pain.

Cheers mate I would rather it be turbo than engine tho. I've took the dv of and cleaned it out seems fine it's got a green spring in and I'm boosting at 18-20 psi is that the right spring ?

Got an engine aswell lol. Not sure what springs the best think mine has a yellow one in it, not sure that would cause your problem though...??

Just had a word with a company they said could be headgasket and there is a bit of pressurising in the water system so gonna do pressure test on bores later bad times

I've done a snif test on it and seems all good so think I can rule headgasket out ( thank god) and I've turned turbo down a bit doesn't seem to be doing it now so might have cured it wish me luck lol

Take the tip off the turbo and check for play in the shaft in and out and up and down turbo seals always go

Yeah sound mate I'll try that think it defo is the turbo tho
