Hi there,

There's been an ongoing issue with my LCR for quite some time now in relation to my Badger5 TIP. :( Basically the stupid thing won't sit on flush with the billet on the turbo. Everytime I fitted it onto the end of the billet and tighten with a jublee clip there would be an awkward kink at the end and when boosting it would come straight off its very frustrating!

I've been told that the best way to deal with this issue is to cut off a couple of mm at the top end of the TIP where its connected to the induction kit. Has anyone ever tried this or could anyone recommend any other ideas? This is a serious pain as I'm not getting as much power as I should be!

Thanks :D

Yeah, I took about an inch and a half off the top end, that made a big difference. Reckon I could do with taking a little more off too though, there's still a slight kink at the bottom bend and it's come off the adapter a couple of times lately. I bought a v2.2 adapter which is longer and the bit the hose sits on has grooves so the hose has more grip.

The rotation of the TIP on the adaptor makes a difference to the angle the whole thing sits at too, though. Worth playing about with that a little bit.

Woah, seems like you need to take off more than I thought? Did you use a fine tooth saw to cut it? Also, after its been cut and the kink is loosened does it ever slip off the billet?

I'm gonna give it a bash at the weekend bloody rain will make it painful to do though :(
