Hello Guys!

I was wondering if anyone could help, I still have the OEM boost pipes on my Cupra tdi and I am looking to change at least the top pipe to a hard silicone pipe as I can see it expand when revved even when not under load! Also the connection to the EGR assembly is not tight at all.

Most of the replacement kits I can find seem to only be compatible with a EGR delete kit, as the top pipe doesn't have the little nodules which clip into the EGR and are held in pace with a ring clip.

Does anyone know a manufacturer who supplies hard pipe replacements to the same specification as original or do I have to replace the EGR to buy a hard pipe kit.

Also if anyone knows the technical name or part code of this particular pipe that would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Jason.

if it's not leaking why bother just fit a new o ring and make sure both nibs are fully engaged (and not damaged) a new "circlip" might help NB there are several different sizes on the system

Have you tried darkside developments? I know they do a complete hard pipe kit for the 1.8t.

Cheers guys, been away.

Cheshire cat - I believe they are leaking as this top pipe and one other are very pliable and soft compared with the other pipes. thew nibs are well worn and after driving sometimes the pipe has half popped out and I have to remove the circlip and push it back into place.

Andy I have - as far as I can tell they don't stock a kit for the 160 PD :(
