Same here, I think il probably go with the night breakers 1st and see how they go and if I'm still not happy il go for a HID kit and keep the night breakers as spares incase there is the need to remove the HIDs

fitted the nightbreakers to-day and i am 100% happy with the light they emit. on the negative side i had to order the led sidelights as they now look so yellow lol

Good to hear. Ive been thinking the same about the sidelights, which ones did you go for?

Im a copper , so i hope not! :p No they are not illegal as of yet, however depending on the quality of kit, it may fail an MOT because of the beam pattern! :) Hope that helps!

Yup they are illegal im afraid.
The only reason cars on the road have them as standard, is because the UK road agency cant ban foreign manufacturers from selling their brand new cars with factory fitted HID's in the UK. (Many cars come with them as std now)
Even then, they must meet certain requirements such as having auto-leveling, self cleaning and being a certain max brightness.

Aftermarket ones are 100% illegal, however as long as you are not blinding anyone, there isnt too much harm.
