Had a Nokia hands free kit put into the Leon at the weekend and it works fine but every time i turn the radio off it asks for the code

I then find out that the ignition and the live have to be swapped so we do that and now i cant get a good radio signal

Any ideas people

Tris, have you got one of the FM amplifers attached...has that been removed during the BT install?

Bout the only thing that springs to mind...if i'd have know I could have done it for you on Sat...piece of :censored: to install!

(That said whoever did the one in mine...before i got it...shafted the old Aura release mechs, so had to "rip" it out to change to my Alpine)

Ooh not sure then...Only other thing it could be is that the aerial lead is not totally connected after you removed the HU for the power wires?

No clue then...i've still got my Aura Tape unit if you wanna borrow that to check yours isn't goosed after the BT install...an only down the road.

Gimme a shout.

Which Nokia kit is it? I guess it will be using a telemute harness also as Nokia kit's don't have this built in. The +12v constant and switched 12v need to be reversed on VAG cars, it sounds like this hasn't been done. On the telemute harness you will have bullet connectors to do this at both ends ot the harness. I fitted a Nokia kit into my wife's Ibiza FR and had to work this out using a circuit tester on each changable lead. If a 3rd party fitted your kit, take it back to them and they should be able to work this out easy enough...

i didn't swap anything over on the Ibiza when i fitted Nokia kit in Vick's car.

You'l have to let me know the outcome, coz i gonna fit my Nokia kit in the Audi at the weekend!!!
