Help with rear middle seat belt

The rear middle seat belt doesn’t want to pull out for some reason. I’m tried to pull it slowly but to no avail. Any ideas how to fix it?

Are you sure the seat back is 100% latched in? I've seen this on a few VW platform cars and if the seat back is not properly latched you can't pull middle belt out

They replaced it with a new seat belt. The old one they took out they could see nothing wrong with it as they took it out and put it back and it worked. But when they put the car back to get there again it would get stuck again so they replace with a new one.

Interesting. Guess the locking mechanism was stuck inside somehow. Glad it's sorted
