Help with stereo please

i have just installed the ipod cable for my Pioneer AVIC-F930Bt

I have all the wires for steering controls.. The everything works with CD's but only the volume adjust will work with my Ipod and the screen just goes black any ideas?

have you used a genuine Pioneer cable?

that was my original thought there is 2 parts a big cable that goes into the back of the unit that then connects to an Ipod cable

i am going to buy the Pioneer 1 an see how it goes!

to test it is a cable fault, use your original ipod cable that came with your ipod. you won't get any audio, but you can confirm it solves your control issue. Also, make sure you have set the Pioneer unit as the control unit and not the Ipod.

found another wire i had used that and BOOM! worked straight away! thank you all for your help!
