Hi my cars going to be revamped in the next few months getting some money back from loans I have taken out , and at the min I'm bored with my car so basicly I need help I'm not saying what the wheels are as it will be a surprise there 8.5j on the front et35 which is right and et40 on the rear which is wrong there both 5x112 so I need adaptors with the adaptors on will the off set change the tyres will have a stretch so clearance will be ok , hopefully they clear the brembos they should as there off a car with big brakes, any help apreciated

minimum adaptor thickness you can get is 15mm iirc, therefore your offsets will be to et20 and et25 respectively.

weight is the enemy
So will they fit I'm **** with off set the adaptors are the fk ones , does that mean they will sit out ?

Yes, is the short answer. ET38 is standard as you probably know. I have a set of wheels that are ET30 and IMO sit perfectly under the arches. at ET20 will mean each wheel will sit 18mm further out than standard. ET25 will push them out 13mm.
Whether this is too far I don't know but I'd say if you have lowered it as well that rubbing is s strong possibility.

I'm et23 all round with 7.5J wheels, and they rub a bit at the back. you will have an extra half inch either side being 8.5j, so your outer rim will stick out another 12.5mm compared with a 7.5j wheel. I reckon you will be just about okay, you will need to run 10-20mm stretch, 215s?

I was going to stick with the 225 s I have on my wheels at the min the wheels are just over a grand with out tyres lol , I can get 4 of the 8.5 j if the 9.5s won't fit one issue is the brembos ,it will be lowers getting coilovers as well , think I may just buy them unsure if I should play it safe and get all 8.5 s just wanted a stagered look
