Hi - Just picked up my new K1 This Morning...

Hi

I raced myself outta bed this morning and got myself to the dealers to pick up my new Cupra K1 this morning - its been the longest 3 weeks of my life!:D

I traded in my08 Leon FR tdi against her - I thought to myself why not - I don't do the travelling now, so not needing the diesel for MPG anymore! :p Although I am sad to see her go - I've had much joy outta my FR over these last 5 months, but I'm sure I'll have more fun outta my K1;)

I must say I'm totally impressed:) The riding and handling are totally smooth, nothing like my FR, which was harsh in comparison.

I know - I so need to change my avatar, I will in time, its like a little ode to my FR;)
 
Nice im jelous. I for some reason was not excited about picking my fr up. I had to wait a week was an hour late on the day. I love my car but i dont feel the love for my car as i did for my previous car. Heart breaking story hey.

Hope you enjoy your k1. Is a remap on the cards???

I have some mods in mind and I've ordered some bits & Bobs, just waiting for them to arrive!:cry:
 
Was gonna take some pics - but its pi$$ing down with rain here today - tomorrow is supposed to be nice - but I may wait till next weekend when all my bits & bobs finally arrive, then I can take some pictures of the car inside & out, of what I've done to it, just little subtle mods...

Its kind of a long story - but to cut it short - I was wanting originally just a Cupra, but was told I'd have to wait at least 3 months for delivery because I wanted white - sod that! So I told my dealer NO, don't bother. I walked away and got a phone call the next day, offering me a K1 for not a lot of money over the Cupra I was wanting (from new, ordered), it was the only K1 in the country at the time, White with White Wheels :blink:

So went for that, got my dealer to change the wheels to Gloss Black, put me in the con pack & bluetooth for not alot of money more - thats why I had to wait for 3 weeks!:)

I got a good deal for my FR, but for what good deal I got on the K1, one could not possibly moan;) At the end of the day, my dealer told me that they are struggling to meet their target sales, so I think theres plenty of good deals to be had at the moment.
