hello. just signed up. know absolutly nothing about leon's.
but i am interested in a tdi130 se. now some info about these would be greatful please. a few questions are how reliable are they? can the cupraR bodykit be fitted to it ok? and did they make this model in yellow? also my step dad has a diesel astra and his fuel pump went. costing £1200. a mate at college has a 306diesel and his fuel pump went. which leaves me wondering if this is common on diesels?
and what sort of price could i pick up a decent leon for. i understand that the 130 is a last 2003 onwards model, is this correct? i'll be hoping to buy once xmas is out the way.
ps, sorry for the long post.

The cupra r bodyjit can go on but would be a bit of a job, the cost of the kit alone without paint is a fortune + you would have to get your bump strips done aswell i think. Better off just putting that cash towards the car instead to start with. You would have to change the wheels aswell to make the kit work + drop it, it all adds up, for the kit fitted + painted i dont know but i would say towards 1k unless you got bits from a scrappy. Im sure the R front bumper alone is £350 unpainted.

go for it mate, the leon is a great car, you can get the cupra r kit from e-bay for a bit cheaper, it looks good and theres a copper cupra on here with an e-bay front bumper on and it looks stunning, its on the pictures section front page. don't let anybody put you off, i think you can also tune a 130tdi to around 170bhp ( well a guy i work with had a 130tdi golf and thats what his chipped to, and it was very quick as well, kicked my ar5e in my ibiza cupra sport, left me for dead to be honest ) good luck with the car mate and welcome to scn, this is the best place to come to for some helpfull advice ( well usually ) :)
