You should only really be getting HIDs for dipped beam. For a white beam, you'll want 5000k or 6000k/8000k for HIDs with a blue tinge.

For main beam, stick with standard halogens (the whitest being Osram Nightbreaker Plus) due to the fact that HIDs need to warm up (5 seconds+) and flashing them (like you would if letting someone out of a junction etc.) would severely shorten the life span.

Side lights, just go for LEDs as they are white with a blue tinge. I'm not sure what the Leon requirements are, but I'm guessing you'll be CAN-BUS error free LEDs (which include a resistor to trick the computer into thinking the LEDs are drawing more power).

Fog lights, probably best going for LEDs, not sure about the fitment though.

Number plate LEDs, something like this, however you'll have to double check the current bulb size in your Leon.

Are you changing fogs for a better look, or increased performance (do you live in a very foggy area?)

Personally, I don't see any point changing the fogs from standard as I've only had to use my fog lights 3-4 times in 3 years of ownership. If you're doing it for better appearance, go for LEDs as they're plug & play and much less hassle. HIDs will have ballasts and more wiring, whereas LED fogs are just 1 unit.

Though, I have to admit people who drive around with fog lights on all the time do annoy me..

Hi all
Can someone help me bought some hids 6000k work fine wen I put my lights on some of my radio stations go like they have lost signal any ideas???
Thanks

I have 6000Ks in my dipped beam as well as fog lights and that never happened to me. I must say, though, that the bluetooth quality has been a bit reduced ever since I installed the HIDs. I usually play music through my BlackBerry and sometimes it'd cut in the middle and then resume, sort of like losing a radio channel's signal. I don't know if it has to do with HIDs or just our bad luck.

Are yours 35Ws or 55Ws? And did you get CANBUS ready ones or did you fit decoders or resistors?

Those are very nice. I don't have aftermarket side lights, just the stock ones. I like the extra slim ballasts thing. Mine are slimmer than most in the market but still bigger than those, which sucks becuse you can still see them on the sides when you open the hood.
