All I got back was the print out, It does go well. was getting torque steer in 6th, seems to have calmed down a bit now tho

Just a quick question about the fuel pump....what about one off a RS4....I'm sure I've read somewhere that this is an option instead of the APR one? (Unless I was dreaming at the time!)

your thinking about an RS4 Valve, which is an uprated part that can be fitted to 2.0TFSI

REVO used to require it to be fitted to run Stage2+ properly. Now i think REVO dont require it on there new mapping but for the price of it, its still worth fitting

I didn't pay for it, the dealer did. It had the milltek on it when i got it and was running crap. They didn't want to put a standard pipe on at £1700, so they sent it to Plymouth to get it mapped

Sounds like you've had your pants down in all honesty.

You can run a sports cat and cat back Milltek with no map at all and it should run perfectly well.

If I were you, I'd take it somewhere trustworthy and get it dyno'd. Then if you are really running only 285bhp get a proper Stage 2 map. If you have a sports cat or even a decat D/P you should be able to achieve well over 330bhp @ Stage 2 - with an intake you'll see 340bhp.

thought a 45 bhp and 105 lb ft increase was quite good. Milltek sites say a turbo back system needs a remap for the system to work.

De-cat you need mapping and with some 100cel sports cats, but for the actual Cat-Back system nothing is needed at all

It's a turbo back system. That's all I know. The dealer payed for it, so I don't know what they arranged with the tuner. It didn't cost me a penny and is still under warrenty, so if it goes tits up they have to sort it. It goes quite well, traction control always kicks in 3rd and sometimes 4th. just wish it would always run and idle smooth

Oh yes, that will be the one...must have been having 40 winks at the time then!

Sound like you have had a map to deal with the elm light so that would explain the lack f power gain

I personally thing the map has been done by somebody who isn't used to working with the 2.0TFSI so hes just turned everything up a bit and sorted any lights that might of come on

Yeah prob. The light was coming on when i got the car, had it tested at a couple places and it was showing a lambda fault

That would explain it, I wouuld expect a cupra with aftermarket sorts to ht that sort of power

To be on the safe side I would have a look into getting a logging session done

Right them figures are a bit odd, I would really look at getting it checked properly
